Apple to Avoid Maine's Recycling Fee by Picking Up Its Old Computers

Next summer Maine will begin requiring that all computers and monitors be recycled. The manufacturers will be billed a fee to recycle their merchandise excessed by their customers. But Apple is taking another tack by promising to "pick up" their old computers rather than pay the recycling fee according to a Times Record article.
