In addition to all the latest Apple hardware, the major new features include a rewritten search engine, Smart Categories (similar to Smart Playlists in iTunes), color labels, independent database updating, spell check and Unicode support for notes, a new category called "This Mac" which shows the current Mac, and the addition of Apple Hardware Test versions.
