Eggplant 2.2 is Out with Mac OS X 10.4 Compatibility

Eggplant is the automated test tool for Mac OS X. Designed specifically for GUI-level testing, Eggplant combines image-capture-and-compare technology with a powerful scripting language that allows QA teams to automate tests and other repetitive tasks. Although Eggplant resides on the Mac OS X platform it is capable of testing a second computer running almost any operating system. Current customers use Eggplant to test Windows, Mac OS 9, Mac OS X, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, and Linux.

This release is available for free download to all existing customers with a current maintenance agreement. Free trial licenses are available through a request form on the company's Web site for anyone wishing to learn firsthand about the benefits of true user-level automation. [Bill Fox]
