First iBooks, Now Maine Wants High-Speed Wireless Internet for 90% of Rural Areas

Maine was the first state to provide all seventh and eighth graders with iBooks under previous governor Angus King. Current Gov. John Baldacci is leading an initiative to cover 90 per cent of Maine's rural population with a density of 5 people per square mile or more with high-speed wireless internet service.
