Quicken for Mac 2006 is Out

Intuit released Quicken 2006, the personal and lite business finance program for the Macintosh. Featuring improvements to the way transactions are downloaded and appear in Quicken and a way to back up data to Apple's .Mac service, Quicken for Mac 2006 shows Intuit's continuing support for the Mac platform and an unrelenting focus on solving evolving customer needs. Quicken for Mac is one of the top five selling applications for the Macintosh platform.

There is at least one report on the listservers that we frequent that mentions Quicken 2006 crashed while importing a Quicken 2005 file until certain transactions were deleted. Even then, Quicken 2006 crashed frequently while using the imported file. We stress that this is just one report. However, significant problems with initial releases of updated Quicken applications is a too common occurence for us so we usually wait until there is at least one patch out before upgrading.
