Apple released Security Update 2007-005 v1.1--Not necessary if 1.0 installed

Apple released a revision to Security Update 2007-005 1.0 to correct an issue with automatic enabling of BIND, a service used by some server applications of Mac OS X. BIND can be enabled manually if needed.

According to Apple (scroll to the bottom of the article), it is not necessary to install v1.1 if 1.0 has already been installed. However, if not, then v1.1 should be available by Software Update or may be downloaded as a stand-alone file from this Apple Web page.

As we noted on Tuesday's edition, we have not experienced any difficulties since installing Security Update 2007-005 1.0. [Bill Fox]
