Adobe released a new version of its Flash Player for Intel- and PowerPC-based Macs. Version 9.0.115.0 is available for download via MacUpdate.com or from this Adobe Web page. You can see what version you have installed by visiting this Adobe Flash Web page.

Version 9.0.115.0 is the release version of Flash Player 9 after a series of betas and a release candidate. Flash Player 9 incorporates H.264 video support and runs natively on Intel-based Macs.

We downloaded and installed version 9.0.115.0 with no problems. Then we visited several Web sites with heavy Flash content using Safari and noted no problems. [Dana Baggett & Bill Fox]
