From the Dark Side--M$ loses Another Copying Lawsuit; Copies Mac OS X Exposé
Microsoft copies technology owned by others? Nahhhh! Who could think such a thing? Let's see, yesterday we saw a Microsoftian demonstrate a "new and exciting" feature in Widows Vista he called Exposé, a feature that shows all open windows on the desktop by moving the cursor to a corner. Geez, Microsoft not only copied the function from Mac OS X but shamelessly even copied the name!
[Update: The Microsoftian simply may have misspoken, as noted by several readers, perhaps he's a closet Mac user. We can not find a reference to Exposé in any online Vista documentation. The Exposé feature demonstrated at the Vista launch event last week may be a function in Windows Flip that requires Vista's Aero graphics capability but we couldn't find it explicitly stated.] [Bill Fox]
