Microsoft updated Virtual PC 6 for Mac to v6.1.2 and Virtual PC 7 for Mac to v7.0.3--Security Fix

Microsoft updated Virtual PC 6 to v6.1.2 and Virtual PC 7 to v7.0.3. The updaters are available for download as stand-alone files from this Microsoft Web page.

According to Microsoft, the issue fixed is the same for both versions of Virtual PC

This update fixes a vulnerability that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of your computer's memory with malicious code.

We no longer use Virtual PC to run Windows applications but use Parallels Desktop for Mac or Apple Boot Camp instead. [Bill Fox]
