TurboTax Sales Flat while TaxCut shows Good Growth in Tax Software Battle

While Intuit's TurboTax is still the market leader, its sales have been flat for 2007, growing at only 1% over 2006, mostly in Web use. On the the other hand, both TaxCut and TaxAct have shown growth with TaxCut's sales increasing by a healthy 15%. This has been attributed to TaxCut being $10-15 less expensive and getting good reviews. So far TaxCut has worked great for us.

TaxCut returned to the Mac this year with a Mac OS X product. Last year, H&R Block did not release a Mac version of TaxCut. More... [Dana Baggett]
