[11am 8/30] Macworld reports that SyQuest reduced its prices on its EZFlyer (230MB) and SyJet (1.5GB) removeable media drives to $149 and $399 (external--$299 internal). These prices are effective 9/2 and are in line with Iomega's similar products--let's see if Iomega reduces its prices further.

[9pm 8/29] According to Austin 360, PowerComputing has decided to not ship its new PowerTower Pro G3 with the cutting edge, blazingly fast PC740/750 CPUs until the licensing issue is settled. The latest rumors are that this will be announced next Tuesday with an Apple buyback of Power's license.
