According to MacWEEK, in mid-November Apple will intro the new mid-range "Gossamer" Macs. Sporting the PowerPC 750 CPU at 233-266Mhz, 512k 2:1 backside cache and a 66Mhz system bus, these Macs will replace the current 7300 and offer a new mini-tower enclosure for $1,999-2,999.
