After Dark v4.04

Regarding After Dark v4.04 from reader J. Shannon Swan, "I just downloaded it (AfterDark 4.04), and restarted my office computer. The computer, a Pm 7200 with a PC Pentium card will not now completely boot. I almost get to the point of my desktop picture loading when I get a type 41 error about a problem with a PC network extension." AD is a notorious conflictor. Is anyone else having this problem? Please let me know.
