Are you ready for BMW's 21-day Cyberdrive that begins today? The CD sent from BMW when I registered was in my huge stack of mail. While the CD is not necessary, it eliminates the need to download graphics throughout the cyberdrive. The CD also has the Apple Companion Tour, an interesting display of QuickTime movie and virtual reality (VR) technology. You zip around in a racing BMW M3 and view the interior with VR. Check out Apple's new computers, including the 20th Anniversary Mac, and use VR to look over a 9600 and 8600. There's even a VR tour of the 9-th hole of the Oak Creek golf course in Irvine, CA, a screensaver and a movie on the cyberdrive!
