Macs Only!

I removed Netcaster for the PowerPC PB1 by reinstalling Communicator 4.03--Netcaster was too slow and caused too many crashes. Since Macs Only! reported on its availability on Monday, there's been an eerie silence on other web sites and from Netscape--weird!

Guerrino De Luca, Apple's very popular Executive Vice President of Marketing during the past 7 months, resigned yesterday. Here's Apple's meatless press release. Did he go down the tubes defending Apple's authorized resellers against Apple's move to direct marketing? I certainly hope Apple will approach marketing in a balanced way, including via well-supported resellers--selling an Apple is much different than selling a Dell. Oh, did I mention that I have no formal training in marketing?
