MacWEEK says PowerComputing has "released" its PowerTower Pro 250. It has a 250 MHz 604e CPU with a 50 MHz system bus but costs nearly twice the PowerCenter Pro with a 210 MHz 604e CPU and a 60 MHz system bus. I haven't seen any benchmarks but they seem to be close in performance--why the huge cost difference? Here's Macworld's story.
