Oops!

In yesterday's post, I failed to copy the part of Larry Bles' email which stated that right now DirecPC was for PC's only. Sorry for that since I received a flood of email asking if DirecPC was available for the Mac. It is not but it might be helpful, if you're interested in those incredibly fast satellite connections to the internet, to write a nice letter to DirecPC, give your configuration and indicate the need for DirecPC to be made Mac compatible. Other places to write are Hughes Electronics and Apple. I also note that one must maintain an ISP connection (and its attendant cost) in addition to the satellite connection just like ISDN. Still, the internet speed is truely fantastic and worth the effort to bring it to the Mac--please help.
