Yesterday was the first day of BMW's Cyberdrive and it didn't go very far for me at first. After logging in, it led me from the calendar page to a page depicting and describing the M3 and Z3 where I was supposed to select one of the two cars. Tip--if you are having trouble finding the links, just scroll right, duh! [Thanks Robert Levy!] I picked the Z3 and my destination turned out to be an interesting anthology on "roller coasters". I spent about 40 minutes at the destination, reading the material, visiting all the pages, viewing the QuickTime movies and answering the quiz.
NEWS.COM reports that Apple and Motorola have reached a Mac OS licensing deal. The deal will allow the G3 (Arthur) CPU to debut in computers at Macworld Boston in August. The G3 will debut at 300 MHz and is eventually expected to reach 400 Mhz.
