Symantec released Norton Crashguard 3.51 as a standalone product for $19.95. NCG may be downloaded from Symantec's website.

Apple's prices for PowerBook 1400 and 3400's were reduced by $300-1,000 in anticipation of newer PowerPC 750 CPU PowerBooks according to PowerPage (10/3) and Macinsider (10/2). Price cuts of $500-700 on Apple's 8600 and 9600 computers are coming according to Macinsider (10/4).
