UMAX's prototype CHRP computer

Francois Marniquet reported on UMAX's prototype CHRP computer seen last Wednesday at the French Apple Expo in Paris (300Mhz PC750/66Mhz bus/1 MB backside cache--MacBench 4.0 = 1101!). The details are located on The AbsoluteMac page. The specs are virtually the same as Motorola's CHRP "prototype" that Apple refused to certify. However, the UMAX people claimed that Apple approved their identical system.
