Apple Announced New AppleCare Protection Program

according to yesterday's SmallDog.Com Kibbles&Bytes newsletter (#134). The new plan covers new and refurbs and includes 3 years of phone, parts and labor support plus some diagnostic tools like TechTool Deluxe. The newsletter didn't mention the cost and there's no Apple press release as yet.
