Many Hewlett Packard Printer Drivers Not Mac OS 9 Compatible

according to this note from HP. The affected printers are: DeskWriter 600, 660, 680, 690 Series, DeskJet 610, 612, 670, 680, 690 Series and DeskJet 850, 855, 870 Series. Given Apple's aggressive Developer Seed Program, there is absolutely no excuse for this or such incompatibilities in other software. I recommend taking it out on the laggards by voting with your pocketbook or wallet.
