Apple Supporting AppleWorks

At Macs Only!, we have long maintained that AppleWorks is an outstanding and overlooked product. We have editorialized on the need for Apple to support and upgrade AppleWorks as THE office suite for most of "The Rest of Us." Apple seems to be getting more serious about doing just that. Lon Hutchison wrote us that: "My sister is an educator and has a Mac, so I keep a close watch on what goes on with Apple's education-related webpages. The Apple education K-12 link will take you to some majorly improved pages not the least of which are the AppleWorks pages. Many more goodies and tips that are useful to all users of AppleWorks!" This is in addition to the useful tools on the regular AppleWorks site that we noted recently.
