From The Dark Side--Microsoft Uses FUD? Heaven Forbid!

In Caldera's suit against Microsoft, Judge Dee Benson denied Microsoft's requests for summary judgement (dismissal) on a large number of Caldera's claims that Microsoft used its monopoly position and FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt) to kill off competition with false claims and bogus shipping dates. Microsoft argued that this is standard for the industry and unfortunately it appears to be true among the big guys.
