Grappler930U SCSI Controller Problem

from updating to firmware v1.22 mentioned yesterday was "fixed" by downloading and flashing the firmware back to v1.18. Reader Tony Wight found a post on a MacFixIt forum describing a similar problem with an external SyQuest SyJet which was solved by going back to v1.18. No response yet from Orange Micro.
