iBook AC Adapter Now On Slow Boat

A week ago I ordered one of those neat disc-shaped iBook AC power adapters from the Apple Store so I could say good bye to the messy and fragile adapter for my PowerBook 2400c. An additional benefit is faster battery recharging since it puts out 45 watts instead of 36. It was listed at $69.95 in the Apple Store with a 5-day delivery time by 3-day FedEx. I don't know if that really meant 8 days or even 8 business days but when I checked my order, the posted delivery time had skyrocketed to 70 days! This probably means that I won't see the adapter until after the iBooks ship--the end of September is only 58 days away.
