iBook Battery Cover "White Bubbles" Is Embossed Image
according to this Apple TIL and not heat damage as some have feared. The white splotches on the inside of tangerine and blueberry iBook battery covers purposefully give them a different look than the rest of the iBook, one that is similar to one of the desktop images.
