Keyspan Digital Media Remote

Keyspan is showing a new device for controlling a CD drive, QuickTime, MP3 and DVD players and PowerPoint presentations via an infrared remote controller, just like a TV "clicker". The software is complete as is the IR receiver and USB cable. The receiver is a small 2-3" clear plastic device with a red color insert and a slot for the controller or to perch atop a PowerBook. The final mock up of the controller arrived yesterday and Keyspan President Mike Ridenhour showed it to me. It is about half the size of a credit card, beige on top with a clear bottom. This device will be a terrific addition to the gear for Mac users that make presentations with any form of digital media. It will be available for $79 in September.
