NPR Pro Mac

From Dale Garrison, "I listen to National Pubic Radio a lot. One show in particular, "The Computer Guys," on the call-in show Public Interest with host Kojo Nnamdi, is worth noting. The Computer guys are two "experts" who visit every week or so and chat about computers, take questions, etc. Anyway, they are extremely pro-Mac. Listening objectively, I sometimes wonder that PC people don't complain. But it's so wonderful to hear two people who obviously know computers, and who extensively use both platforms, provide objective (and pro-Mac!) info. They will consistently answer troubled PC callers with "you should get a Mac!" It's surprising.

I've noted similar pro-Mac leanings on a local NPR show (Kansas City's Walt Bodine show and his bi-weekly "computer guys") and on a cable channel Info Network (or something like that). Again, these are not Mac shows per se, but their objectiveness is a complete turnaround from a PC only mentality. I'd like to think that the clear cut advantages of Mac are finally coming out, thanks to a lot of factors, and that objective professionals are seeing it. But I think this trend, if it is one, is worth a note and your site seems like a good platform."
