NPR Follow Up

from John Schwab, "In the interest of fairness, it should be noted that only one of the two "Computer Guys" on NPR's "Public Interest" is "extremely pro-Mac." In fact, John Gilroy is an ardent Wintel-head. The good natured jousting between Gilroy and Mac-o-phile Tom Piwowar is part of what gives this feature its great appeal. On the other hand, if you'd only listened to this month's segment, you'd be convinced that both Piwowar and Gilroy are Mac maniacs. I didn't hear the whole show, but I did hear unanimous, enthusiastic praise for the iMac. I've got to hand it to Gilroy--he may be a PC guy, but he is not a closed-minded PC guy." [Gilroy also accurately answers Mac questions in his Washington Post column showing he's knowledgeable about the Mac platform despite any perceived bias.--Bill]
