Orange Micro Announces New Pricing And Software Bundles

"Responding to significant price reductions in FireWire chipset costs, Orange Micro is reducing its prices on several of its OrangeLink FireWire products effective October 1, 1999. The OrangeLink FireWire PCI Board has a new MSRP of $129 which represents a 24% price reduction. This product is a FireWire PCI host adapter for both Mac and PC systems. The OrangeLink FireWire CardBus PC card carries a new MSRP of $149. It allows users of the late model G3 Macintosh Powerbooks and PC portables to add FireWire to their systems. In addition to the significant price reduction, Orange Micro has announced its intention to bundle Home Video Editing software with both products this Fall at no additional cost to consumers."
