PowerLogix Developed PhotoShop 5.5 Enabler For G4 Upgrade Cards

fix for B&W G3s, today announced another G4 first: the completion of
development of full AltiVec compatibility under PhotoShop 5.5 when
using a G4 upgrade card. 'PhotoShop is by far the most important application at this time with
regards to the G4 with the AltiVec processor,' said Robert Jagitsch,
President of PowerLogix R&D, Inc. 'We have now finished development
of our AltiVec enabler software which allows any PowerMac that can
accept a G4 chip to fully utilize all optimized AltiVec plug-ins for
PhotoShop. It is fully compatible under both Mac OS 8.6 and Mac OS 9."
