Prince George's County, MD, May Be Going All Dell--Help!

From a reader who wishes to remain anonymous, "I'm a teacher in the Prince George's county [MD] school system. I found out today from my principal that the county has decided to go strictly Dell Computer. In fact, all orders placed for computers have been held up pending this decision. I can't imagine why they are doing this, except that Dell probably made someone a deal. Our county in the past has been very pro-Mac. Our school in 90% Macintosh, and a large number of our faculty are Mac owners. P.G. county is one of the largest school systems in the country. I would hope that if any of your readers work in the system, or have children in the system, they voice their opinion ASAP. I'm not sure when this is going down, but from the sounds of things, soon!"
