Retrospect v4.2 Update CD Free

from Dantz for those who paid for the 4.1 CD. From Dana Baggett, "I called Dantz about ordering a free upgrade 4.2 CD since I paid for the 4.1 upgrade CD. Dantz will send a free upgrade 4.2 CD to registered customers who have paid for 4.1 Upgrade CDs. No need to call. Here's Dantz' reply:

'If you would like the bootable Retrospect 4.2 CD, and you own Retrospect 4.1, a CD will be sent to you in 3-4 weeks. If you own Retrospect 4.0, the cost to upgrade will be $29.95 plus $7.50 shipping and handling. You can order the upgrade by calling 800.225.4880.'

Dantz is to be commended. Many other companies hide in the weeds, hoping you won't hear about the offer and won't ask. Dantz takes the initiative; it doesn't even ask you to call. And, there's no "nominal" shipping/handling fee. Free is free. Period. The CD is due to ship in about four weeks. Let's hope the download is available Sep. 20."
