Timex iMac Knockoff?

"I was just at 'Staples...The Office Supply Store' and they had a display set-up of Timex alarm clocks. The clocks were 99% iMac rip-offs. The only difference is that they didn't have an Apple logo or iMac id. The lack of these two identification features leads me to think that these clocks are not Apple licensed.

The clocks come in all 5 colors AND the topper....on top of the clock is a 'snooze/demo' button. When I pressed it (in the store), it ran through its multiple alarm sounds...4 of those sounds were--Indigo, Quack, Wild Eep and Sosumi. It looks like Timex is challenging Apple as per the myth behind the naming of the "Sosumi" sound.

The clocks were $14.95 each. I didn't buy any of them, but as I am writing this email, I am thinking more and more that I should go back a buy one of each color. For less than $80 I can have one of each and MAYBE they will be collectors items some day!" [Jim B. -- iBookList]
