Toshiba Announces DVD/CD-RW Drive

The SD-R1002 will combine both DVD-ROM and CD-RW technologies in one drive that will also be backward compatible with regular CD-ROMs according to this NEWS.COM article. It will ship in September at a price of around $400. The article doesn't mention if it will be Mac compatible. [Dana Baggett]
