Vimage Situation Update

The news is not as bad as first feared yesterday. From Vimage Marketing VP David Friedman, "The Vimage Corporation announced [yesterday] that it has halted direct sales operations, both to end users, and also to resellers. Vimage, which has earned industrywide respect for its line of high-quality, inexpensive G3 upgrades for Power Macs, will resume sales in the near future on an OEM basis. Technical support for Vimage customers will continue, albeit during more limited hours, to be announced on the company's web site by 6 August [today]."
