"Yikes" G4 Is History. $1599 Sawtooth G4 Debuted

on the The Apple Store this morning. The new 350 MHz G4, with the Sawtooth motherboard of the higher end Power Macs, has all the high end features but 64 MB less RAM, a 10 GB smaller hard drive and no zip. That means that the 350 has the AirPort option, AGP video slot, DVD and an internal modem. At $900 less than the 400 MHz model that I just bought, it is THE bargain Power Mac G4!
