Apple Wins First National Design Award

from the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum according to the Washington Post for making design a part of its business strategy. Steve Jobs and Apple's chief designer Jonathan Ive are mentioned. Apple's corporate award was presented at the same time as the individual award to architect Frank O. Gehry. The awards were given out at the White House on Monday.
