CompUSA Being Bought By Grupo Sanborns

, a Mexican retailing conglomerate, for $798 million according to this News.Com article. The only thing I know about them is that they own and operate the ubiquitous Sanborns restaurants in Mexico. They are kind of like a Denny's and I remember eating many excellent inexpensive breakfasts at the Sanborns adjacent to the Sheraton Maria Isabella Hotel near the Zona Rosa in Mexico City. So for now I have hope for better days.
