From Jon Darien, "Just wanted to comment that on my MacOS 8.1 Beige G3/300 system, transferring files to and from the iDisk appears to work up to twice as fast with the "Faster Network Copy Protocol + Use TCP/IP if available" options enabled under Speed Doubler 8.1.2 than with the options off." [Unfortunately, Speed Doubler does not run on Mac OS 9 and apparently never will--Bill.]
