Mac OS 9 Software Update Control Panel Not Working

1999–2004October 25, 2000Macs Only!Mac OS
and has not been working for quite some time. Using the control panel has resulted in either a dialog box saying "Software Update is not able to connect to the internet." or a freeze. Same today.
