QuickTime to help set video-swapping standard?
From our CVGS Editor Chris Adamson, "According to Thursday's Salon, one of two competing efforts to advance the DivX video standard is based on QuickTime, fully taking advantage of QT's streaming architecture. The article says DivX 'is to movies what the infamous MP3 format is to music', and that the QT-based effort could break the app's dependence on Microsoft Media Player."
