[Update] Comdex Fall 2001 Starts Saturday in Las Vegas and runs through Friday. Comdex has traditionally been the largest general computer exposition. After missing in action for several years, Apple will be exhibiting iDVD2 according to this ZDNet article. Bill Gates will give the keynote address on Sunday. His "innovative" talk will focus on a "new era in PC technology" that he calls the "digital decade". How original. Could he be talking about Windows XP? [Dana Baggett] [Update: Apple may not be exhibiting after all. The note in CNet's article states that Apple will be exhibiting the i2DVDBox which is linked to Apple's iDVD2 web page. However, reader G. Won points out that the i2DVDBox is real and not made by Apple. The 2200+ exhibitor list does not include Apple so the CNet article appears to be in error and Apple is still MIA at Comdex.]
