Tip--Can't Empty OS X's Trash?

Try using the freeware application BatCHmod by Renaud Boisjoly. It is "...for manipulating file and folder privileges in Mac OS X. It allows the manipulation of ownership as well as the privileges associated to the Owner, Group or others. It can Force Empty the Trash, even when it contains locked files!" Super Get Info, commercial software by Bare Bones Software, also claims: "Super 'Empty Trash' command, allows you to empty the Trash even when the Finder claims you don't have enough privileges." All this can be done in the Terminal using its command line interface or by the brute force method of putting the Trash's contents into a folder, rebooting into 9.1-9.2.1, trashing the folder and rebooting into OS X. But why do that when there are OS X native applications that accomplish it?
