DoubleTalk v1.0.1 Updater

is available for download from Connectix's server. The DoubleTalk 1.0.1 update addresses the following issues:

The DoubleTalk's memory usage has increased to 2048K. This alleviates some out-of-memory errors encountered when viewing large networks or copying large numbers of folders.

DoubleTalk will now install the User Authentication Module into the proper folder under non-English versions of the Mac OS. This corrects the error “The User Authentication Method required by this server can't be found, please check the AppleShare folder in the Extensions folder and try again.” when connecting to a volume in the Chooser.

DoubleTalk now works more reliably when attempting to log in to a Japanese language Windows network volume from a computer running an English language version of the Mac OS.

An issue was addressed where DoubleTalk would fail to open a network volume from within Adobe PhotoShop’s Open File dialog.

The DoubleTalk help system now works under Mac OS 8.5.

DoubleTalk now includes improved international support.

We continue to use DT daily with a Power Mac 8500 on an NT 4.x network to connect to shared resources with no problems.
