Macworld Expo NYC 2001 Largest Ever

in attendance. Last week, Macworld obtained a record attendance of 64,000 attendees, the highest ever for the New York event. Macworld has now surpassed both PC Expo and Internet World - both held at the Jacob K. Javits Center as well - and, according to IDG's press release, it is the largest annual technology event in New York City! We guess that we weren't dreaming when we thought that the crowd was larger than last year's despite fewer major exhibitors.
