Tice's Corner Apple Store Grand Opening Report and Pix!

Tadd Torborg makes it to yet another Apple Store opening. Here is his report and photos of the Tice's Corner Apple Store opening:

"Bill! I was at Tice's! It was great. Even though it rained until 9 am, the attendance at the 10 am opening was great. There were some differences in the line personality due to the outdoor location and the weather. We had good fun. I took many pictures, more than before. I organized the pictures on three pages starting with this page.

Tice's Corner is an old apple orchard in the north east corner of New Jersey, just off of the Garden State Parkway. It is a rather hard location to get to by highway and much less likely to get out-of-the-area traffic than one of the mall locations. It is, however located in a very rich part of the New York metro area which is itself rather high priced. The businesses and residences around the area will provide traffic with high expectations and decent budgets. This was probably a good choice for Apple. Interestingly, the Tice location is only about 10 minutes from a much higher traffic area mall (that has it's own exit off of Interstate 87) where another Apple Store will be located. That one will be called Palisades Center I expect.
