Bargain Man--Inexpensive HDMI Cable for Apple TV

After setting up a new HD TV and several attached components (cable box, DVD Player/Dolby 5.1 receiver and Apple TV) with HDMI cables, I've found that HDMI cables are really expensive. In my 3/5 review of Apple TV "Take Two" I noted that you can get 2- and 4-meter ExtremeMac HDMI cables from the Apple Store Online for $20 and $30 respectively. This is much less than Monster HDMI cables at Radio Shack.

However, Dana "Bargain Man" Baggett let me know that I still paid way too much for quality HDMI cables. MonoPrice.com has HDMI 1.3a Cat 2 certified gold-plated cables for just $5.24 for 6' and $5.79 for 10'. Better yet, MonoPrice.com has them in colors so that you can use a different color for each component that you attach to your HD TV.

In fact, it appears that MonoPrice.com has great prices for a huge selection of cables. [Bill Fox]
