Apple Drops Top 15" iMac Price to $1,699

as we note on the Apple Store. Apple just reduced the price of the high end 15" iMac with an 800 MHz G4 CPU and DVD-writing SuperDrive from $1,799 to $1,699. The price had been dropped from $1,899 to $1,799 when the 17" iMac was introduced at $1,999.
